This is for users who have forgotten their current password, and need to reset it. 

Step-by-step guide

If you have setup your Secret Question and Answer pairs and/or filled out your MyID Profile, you may reset your password via the MyID website:

  1. Head to the MyID Profile Management website.
  2. Type in your MyID username into the MyID field. If you do not know what this is, please call the EITS Help Desk.
  3. Click the checkbox next to I'm not a robot. and complete any instructions.
  4. Once there's a check-mark, click Verify MyID
  5. Depending on your preferences set in your MyID Profile, you would perform one of the following tasks:
    1. Answer your two Self Questions and Answers and then click Verify Answers.
    2. Receive a code by text to your cell phone that you must enter into the form and then select Verify Passcode.
    3. Receive a code through your alternate email address that you must enter and then select Verify Passcode.
  6. Enter and confirm a new password.
