Enabling forwarding will cause all incoming messages to your UGAMail account to be sent to the account of your choice. Helpful if you manage multiple accounts. It is recommended that UGA employees NOT forward their UGAMail to an email address not provided by the University of Georgia. Please see the official policy regarding the Open Records Act and campus email. Faculty and Staff must elect to retain a copy on the server.
Note: Please ONLY use the method below for forwarding from your UGAMail account. We have discovered that "Connected Accounts" forwarding does not function properly.
By default, the UGAMail junk filter is turned ON and it applies to all incoming messages before forwarding your email. This means that any legitimate messages that are incorrectly flagged as spam are moved to the Junk E-Mail folder in UGAMail, and they are not forwarded. Check your Junk E-Mail folder at http://www.ugamail.uga.edu if you believe you are missing forwarded messages.
