Welcome to the website for the EITS Help Desk

Click on the Service Catalogue for a listing of systems at the University of Georgia. The EITS Help Desk website provides instructions, explanations and FAQs for many UGA systems. If you need additional assistance, please contact the EITS Help Desk by phone, email or chat. The EITS Help Desk website features the ability to easily create Word and PDF files of each page.

UGA students, faculty and staff can download and install Microsoft Office ProPlus software for free on up to five personal devices, such as phones, tablets and computers. ProPlus includes Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. This service is available to all UGA employees.

For Windows:

  1. Close your web browser
  2. Go to the start menu and click "Control Panel
  3. Set the "View by:" setting in the top right corner to either Small or Large Icons
  4. Click on Java
  5. Click on the Security tab
  6. Click "Edit Site List"
  7. Click Add
  8. Type https://mytime.uga.edu or the relevant website in the new field and press Enter
  9. Click OK
  10. Click OK again to close the Java Control Panel

Make sure you only have Java 7 u65 installed on your computer; uninstall all older versions!

For Mac:

Note: Because Java is a 64-bit-only on Mac, the Java plugin will not work in Google Chrome. Use Safari or Firefox.

  1. Close your web browser.
  2. Navigate to System Preferences.
  3. Launch the Java Control Panel by clicking on the Java icon in the "Other" section.
  4. Click on the Security tab
  5. Click "Edit Site List"
  6. Click Add
  7. Type https://mytime.uga.edu or the relevant website in the new field and press Enter
  8. Click OK
  9. Click OK again to close the Java Control Panel

You may need to restart your internet browser, but Kronos now load properly.

This is accomplished by providing a focused knowledge base and an efficient call center that acts as a single point of contact for UGA IT services.
